The coarse filter is designed to pre-clean the fuel from mechanical impurities and water and is located on the frame in front of the fuel tank.

Large particles and water are collected in the lower part of the filter cup.

From the upper part through the filter mesh through the outlet fitting and fuel lines, fuel is supplied to the fuel pump.

The filter structure is shown in Fig. 1.

 To remove the filter from a car or bus, disconnect the inlet and outlet pipes from it and unscrew the two bolts securing it to the frame.

To disassemble the filter, secure it in a vice by the body 10.

Unscrew the bolts 7 securing the flange 8 and remove the cap 2.

The filter is assembled in the reverse order.
