Doors are removed for repair and replacement
Remove the door opening limiter
Use a hammer to knock out the door opening limiter pin
The pin for fixation is knurled
In order to replace the door stop, you need to remove the trim.
Use a 10mm socket to unscrew the two bolts securing the limiter to the door.
We remove the limiter through the window of the inner door panel.
Lubricate the limiter with technical Vaseline and install in the reverse order
To remove the door:
If the removed door is to be installed, use a felt-tip pen to outline the position of the door hinges.
Disconnect the door opening limiter from the body pillar.
Use an impact screwdriver with a Phillips tip No. 3 to loosen: three screws securing the top hinge
Loosen the two screws securing the bottom hinge.
While the assistant holds the door, unscrew the screws.
Remove the door. We install the door in the reverse order.
Finally tighten the screws securing the hinges to the body, making sure that the door is positioned correctly in the body opening.
