The cooling system fan is driven by a DC motor with permanent magnet excitation
Controls the operation of the fans of the engine management system ECU, which receives a signal from the coolant temperature sensor.
The engine cooling system fan motor does not require maintenance.
If it fails, replace it with a new one.
Removing and installing the engine cooling system fan motor
Disconnect the negative battery terminal
Remove the air filter
Disconnect the wiring harness block from the electric fan
Unscrew the two bolts securing the electric fan casing on the left
Unscrew the two nuts on top
Unscrew one nut on the bottom
Removing the electric fan assembly with the casing
Unscrew the three nuts securing the motor to the casing
Removing the casing from the motor
Unscrew the impeller mounting nut to the motor
Removing the impeller from the motor shaft
This is what the fan motor looks like
There is a marking on the housing, when replacing it, you need to buy the same motor
Install all the parts in the reverse order
