Replacement of the fuel pump of a GAZ-3110 car with a ZMZ-406 engine
Reduce the pressure in the power system if the engine has just been stopped.
Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
Loosen the clamps and disconnect hoses 1 and 4 from fuel pump 3.
Unscrew the four fastening nuts 2 and remove the pump assembly with bracket from the studs.
Unscrew the two nuts 2 and disconnect the wires from the pump terminals.
To remove pump 3 from the bracket, you need to loosen bolt 1.
Install the new pump in reverse order.
Before installing the pump, inspect the cushions. Replace defective pillows.

Reduce the gasoline pressure in the fuel system, disconnect the battery terminals and remove the luggage compartment mat.
Use a screwdriver to unscrew the five screws securing the hatch cover and remove the cover.
Using a 19mm wrench, unscrew the fuel line fitting from the fuel intake.
Use a screwdriver to loosen the clamps of the fuel pump hoses.
First, disconnect the outlet hose (high pressure) and drain the remaining gasoline from it into a prepared container.
Also disconnect the supply hose.
Using a 10mm wrench, loosen the bolt of the clamp securing the pump to the bracket.
Having turned the pump with the contacts down, use a 7mm wrench to unscrew the nuts securing the wire ends.
Remove the pump from the clamp and pour the remaining gasoline into the container.
If necessary, the pump can be removed together with the bracket by unscrewing the four nuts with a 10mm wrench.
Install the pump in reverse order.
When connecting the wires, keep in mind that their tips have holes of different diameters.
