We carry out the work on an inspection ditch or a lift

Remove the brake drum (Replacing rear brake pads).

To replace the wheel cylinder, remove the brake pads or remove their stops from the slots of the cylinder pistons by sliding the pads down.

Use a 10mm wrench (or a special wrench that covers the five edges of the nut) to unscrew the brake pipe fitting.

We remove the tube from the hole in the wheel cylinder

To avoid loss of brake fluid, we put a protective cap on the end of the tube for the bleeder fitting.

Using a 10mm spanner, unscrew the two bolts securing the cylinder to the brake shield

Remove the wheel cylinder

Install the wheel cylinder in reverse order.

After installing the pads and brake drum, bleed the brake system (Bleeding the brakes).
