We remove the steering column cover to replace the ignition switch, remove the steering column, remove the instrument panel
When removing the covers, use the steering column locking lever to adjust the approach to the covers.
It is also better to remove the cover of the instrument panel mounting block
The steering column cover is secured with screws and self-tapping screws
Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew screw 1 and self-tapping screw 2 on one side
On the other side, unscrew the screw and self-tapping screw
Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the screw securing the lower casing to the switch connector
Unscrew the two screws securing the lower casing to the steering column bracket
Remove the lower steering column casing by removing the steering column locking lever through the T-shaped slot in the casing
Remove the top casing
Installing the covers in reverse order
