Remove the heater valve if a coolant leak appears

We remove the electric pump of the additional heater to access the tap during replacement, and if the pump itself malfunctions

Drain the coolant (see Replacing the engine coolant of a Gazelle car).

Disconnect the plug block from the pump motor connector.

Use a screwdriver to loosen the clamps on the hoses

Remove the outlet hose

Remove the supply hose from the pump nozzle.

Use a 10mm wrench to unscrew the two pump mounting bolts

Install the electric pump in reverse order.

Replacing the heater tap

Drain the coolant

For convenience, remove the electric pump of the additional heater.

Use a screwdriver to loosen the clamps of the inlet and outlet hoses

Replacing the heater tap

Disconnect the hoses from the tap.

Using a 10mm wrench, unscrew the cable clamp bolt 2-3 turns

Use the same key to unscrew the two bolts securing the faucet

Replacing the heater tap

Remove the tap from the car.

Assemble all the parts in reverse order
